Best Balm

The other day, Anas was having bad cough plus on-off fever......keadaan ni berlarutan nk almost 2 weeks. Im kinda worried takut viral fever ke ape ke...smpi pi SDMC SJ buat blood test just to make sure there was nothing wrong. Alhamdulillah, result showed everything's good. Sepanjang Anas batuk2 tu, everynite I will sapu balm kat dada n belakang n a bit at his nose. This is to promote a better n soothing sleeping for him. I've tried various balm...n i hv a few favorites.

Badger Night-night Balm........Made of Lavender n Sandalwood. This one is kinda mild n has pleasant n soothing smell. But for fever n cough purpose, for me not so effective because its not strong enough. Anyway, this balm is recommended mainly to help promote better sleep bukan utk flu,etc. So, utk guna sapu malam2 on daily basis sesuai la but not for cure anything.

Badger Headache Soother Balm.....Made of Lavender, Sandalwood, Eucalyptus, Mandarin, Peppermint n contains super concentrated Menthol Crystals. That's the secret n this balm is definitely my fav! In fact, the first tin tak habis lagi i dah restock on 2nd tin. This balm even though the name is for headache but by all means its suitable to be use when ur having flu, headache or when tgh tension or pressure smpi tegang2 urat kat leher tu bolehla sapu balm ni. Its very soothing n kalau nak sapu everynite pun boleh. No harm coz its 100% organic.

Vicks Baby Balsam......I've also tried this....i sapu nitely kat Anas sampai habis jugakla 1 botol. This one is kinda mild tak macam Vicks utk adults tu. The menthol is not so strong. Tapi kalau lepas mandi nak sapu sesuai jugakla. 

21st Century Children's Vapor Balm........definitely my fav!! Thanks to Hana of http://mylittletotjourney.blogspot.com/ for recommending this balm to me. This balm is a strawberry medicated ointment which comes with two effects - The Vapor Effect & The Warming Effect. This one the menthol is kind of strong...sesuai sgt nk sapu kat anak yg tgh flu n batuk. Mesti depa tido dgn aman damai, insyaAllah. Bau pun sedap n ada effect vapor n warming yg best tu. Highly recommended to u all mommies out there.

My First Movie Nite Out!

Anas is 2 now....so, Mommy decided that he's kinda old enough to be brought out for a movie nite....yippee!!


Mommy planned out the whole outing (as usual la!). So, Anas first movie at the cinema is SeeFood @ MBO Cineplex, Subang Parade, 10th March 2012, 8:45pm....heeee. Mommy chose SeeFood because its a Malaysian produced cartoon that is shown internationally to 90 countries (if im not mistaken....sorry in advance if its wrong info). N MBO Cineplex @ Subang Parade is the nearest n most convenient to us, so obviously we chose to go there.


Sebagai persediaan awal, Mommy prepared all these for Anas :
1) Sweater
2) Blanket
3) Socks
4) Diapers n baby wipes
5) Susu kotak
6) Air kosong


fuhhh................mcm nk gi mana jer. penuh bag mak dgn brg2 bdk kecik tuh.over sgt...padahal nk gi tgk muvi setakat 2-3 jam je kot...huhu...biasala, first time...mak nyer yg over excited..heh...anyway, all these things for me r kinda essential al-maklumla dlm cinema kan kinda cold.

I'm ready for my first movie Mommy :)

Throughout the 1st  hour of the movie, Anas khusyuk betul tgk muvie sambil makan popcorn....kinda fascinate kot first time masuk wayang...hihi. But, being Anas....after that mula la jalankan projek. Kejap nak kluar la, kejap nk duduk kat tangga la, kejap usha lampu tempat duduk la....macam2. But we managed to finish the whole movie successfully. Bravo Anas!!:) Next time, kalau ada movie best....we can do another round k darling!mmmuahhss...........

Anas is Two!!

My lil' prince Anas turned two on last 25th Jan. Last time when he turned one, we had a big party at McD. But this year, Mommy decided to do a low key one. A mini birthday party for him! Well, actually it was a reunion wif my BFF at UMWT cum mini birthday party la. The concept was potluck sbb mak x larat nk masak byk2, boleh? Hihi....The reunion was supposed to be all mommies outing, but i proposed to them to come over my hse, bring their kids n potluck. So, that's where Anas's mini birthday party idea came about as our kids are more or less d same age...so boleh kira buat play group jugak la kan.

For d bufday party we had nasi putih, mix vege, omelette n sambal belacan (by me), chicken curry, nuggets n mini hot dogs (by yanil), roast chicken (by dee), lotsa fruits n drinks (by ija)...n dessert was fruit cocktail (by me) n of coz d yummy bufday cake. Didnt get d chance to snap d foodies....pffttt.

Anyway, it was a fun n happy gathering...syukur, Alhamdulillah. To my dear Anas, Mommy doakan Anas membesar menjadi anak yg baik, soleh n beriman. Mommy loves u too much even though Mommy selalu jerit2 kt Anas....(tu namanya marah2 sayang)....You're my heart n soul, son ....n i love u to bits! Happy 2nd Birthday:)....mmmuaaahhhh

Genting Getaway 12.12.11

To sort of early celebrate our 3rd Anniversary, we had an adhoc trip to Genting - Kota Keriangan...yeay!! Dah nama pun adhoc kan, so the trip started late...we all kluar dr rumah at 6pm...singgah Danau Kota jap coz Daddy ada hal, then shoot to Genting trus....


We arrived kinda late, terus dgn harapan nk check-in First World. But it turns out there were NO ROOMS at all!! Giler gamble ketika itu........sambil reception kata full house coz ada concert Richard Marx...duhhh!!Glamer lagi mamat tu. Its not only First World yg full....but ALL d hotels inc. Awana..masa tu dh almost 11pm...Anas pun still asleep...n me n Fad not sure whether to go back or stay...huhu...


Then, out of miracle...berkat kecomelan Anas tido...receptionist tu kesian kot then suddenly lambai2 panggil I kata ada satu bilik kosong but kinda pricey coz its a big room. So, we just grabbed it la tanpa pk pjg...huhu

Nasib baik anak Mommy buat muke comel masa tido...dpt gak book 1 bilik...hihi

Inilah bilik yg besau tu...ada 1 queen bed n 2 single beds plus dining table,etc...kira Daddy n Anas boleh main bola la dlm bilik tu...huuuh

After check-in bilik, Anas automatically bangun...mcm tau2 jer dh smpi bilik. Fresh fr his nap n coz First World close at 1am............we all pun turun la jalan2 :) (i know its not good for Anas sleeping time tapi bila turun rupenya there were tons of kids his age............sume segar bugar berada dlm mode keriangan.......mak aih...imagine it was almost 12 midnite wokeyy!)

So, lets layan gambo............:)

Overall, it was a short n nice weekend getaway...seronok dpt bw Anas berjalan n he looked like he enjoyed it very much :)... My personal tips for u to plan an adhoc trip to Genting is :

1)First, try to come during off peak season coz there will be lesser people n cheaper hotel rate. 

2)2nd, book ur hotel via online or u can call for reservation as well. Kalau betul2 adhoc trip, you can still call to book ur room at 6pm. 

3)3rd, you can check-in later during d nite..dun wurry First World have midnight shopping n d indoor rides open til 1am....weeee. If you check-in at nite, it wont be so crowded x payah pening2 kepala coz during d day reception counter at FW pack giler kalahkan LCCT...sirius x tipu.

4)Try to book room yg inclusive of breakfast becoz at FW you can have heavy bfast then you can skip lunch coz all d restaurants at Genting are kinda pricier. Kalau u pandai cari, ada mamak kat Genting tu nearby Old Town White Coffee.

5)If u really wanna save on food, bolehla bw MAGGI cup or ur own 3-in-1 sachets...yelah,sejuk2 ni kan cepat lapar....asyik nk makan je keje...hiii

To kinda celebrate my birthday month, we had a short vacay to Singapore. Its been ages since i came here.......so many development has happened. Feel a bit like Hong Kong to me pun ada sikit2...........bottomline, they r kinda 5yrs ahead of us in lotsa ways..sape yg dh pegi mesti agree wif me..huhu. So, lets layan d piccas...

Then head to Orchard Rd....Otw to Takashimaya jumpa Happy Feet...tapi Anas takut plak....hehe...lawak

2nd Day : Hop on Hop off to these places : Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay Sands, Merlion, Clarke Quay

We spent 3d2n there.....x puas berjalan. Lain kali bile Anas dh besar sikit lg, target nk gi USS, Spore Zoo n Night Safari...best, best...:)

Nway, speaking of birthdays...........mine just passed :)..God, i already hit d 3.0....huhu. Just feel blessed for all the blessings given by Him....syukur, Alhamdulillah. So, i kinda shared d same birthday month date with my boss, so d whole section put together sumthing for us :)
