Anas is Two!!

My lil' prince Anas turned two on last 25th Jan. Last time when he turned one, we had a big party at McD. But this year, Mommy decided to do a low key one. A mini birthday party for him! Well, actually it was a reunion wif my BFF at UMWT cum mini birthday party la. The concept was potluck sbb mak x larat nk masak byk2, boleh? Hihi....The reunion was supposed to be all mommies outing, but i proposed to them to come over my hse, bring their kids n potluck. So, that's where Anas's mini birthday party idea came about as our kids are more or less d same age...so boleh kira buat play group jugak la kan.

For d bufday party we had nasi putih, mix vege, omelette n sambal belacan (by me), chicken curry, nuggets n mini hot dogs (by yanil), roast chicken (by dee), lotsa fruits n drinks (by ija)...n dessert was fruit cocktail (by me) n of coz d yummy bufday cake. Didnt get d chance to snap d foodies....pffttt.

Anyway, it was a fun n happy gathering...syukur, Alhamdulillah. To my dear Anas, Mommy doakan Anas membesar menjadi anak yg baik, soleh n beriman. Mommy loves u too much even though Mommy selalu jerit2 kt Anas....(tu namanya marah2 sayang)....You're my heart n soul, son ....n i love u to bits! Happy 2nd Birthday:)....mmmuaaahhhh

Nway, speaking of birthdays...........mine just passed :)..God, i already hit d 3.0....huhu. Just feel blessed for all the blessings given by Him....syukur, Alhamdulillah. So, i kinda shared d same birthday month date with my boss, so d whole section put together sumthing for us :)

Well, thats kinda how the recent birthdays was spent....would like to tk this opportunity to wish my sis, Gja who's birthday is 10 days later than me...........HAPPY BORNDAY, SIS!! :)

Daddy's 3.0

Salam ramadhan everyone..........hopefully everyone is taking full advantage of this holy month to muhasabah diri and mem'bersih'kan' hati n diri dr semua sifat2 mazmumah dan memperbanyakkan sifat mahmudah....god, i know i myself need a lot of effort on that. Still working on it though..............hoping to be better each n everyday. Tough job, it is! Need a lot of persistent n resilience.........eg: like its sooooo easy to google n shop online rather that take the holy Al-Quran n read a page with its tafsir....isn't it? so go figure. i wish i can built a hard wall against all my nafsu2 towards shopping2,makan2,gossip2 in this blessful month  of Ramadhan and continue to do so even after this month ends.............huuh...high ambition.......but MUST work towards it! Insya-allah....

Anyhow, this is a veeeery veeery long pending post as the event occurred wayyyy before ramadhan. I just need to post it for the sake of memories.....(dgn harapan Anas baca blog ni bile die besar nanti....huhuhu). So, to cut things short.............Daddy has reached his big 3.0 last month n we had a lil celebration just the 3 of us at Chili's, Empire.....

Watching n experiencing Anas growing up is like a miracle to me..........still feels like only yesterday I was in labour room at Ampang Puteri giving birth n now this chap is already turning into 1 yr old toddler already..............way to go Anas!!

Anas 1st birthday will be an important event to me...........its the highlight of his achievement of developing fr being a baby to a toddler and also to mark us surviving the first yr as being parents............:)

Im so excited to plan on this 'lil boy bday.............location : checked, guests : checked, goodie bag : checked, bday cake : checked........all in all preparation is right on schedule :)

Twenties Girl

So,today is D-day....finally its here...after waiting approximately for 365 days :)
The day of getting older (definitely) and wiser (ermmm.....not exactly)
So, how am I feeling on this particularly special day?
Happy........Checked
Sad...........Checked
Owwh....actually its a mix of feeling bcoz it will be d last yr of my twenties life before i say hello to 3.0 (gulp...how time flies)

Looking back to my achievement in life....i would say target achieved because i have experienced the transition from being single,to wifey,to mommy.....:) which has been my ultimate dream of all...to have a 'lil bundle of joy to call my own....and im so thankful to the Almighty for all the blessings...Amin....

So, lets recap back down the lane hows my life journey has been (in a very simpify version) :

At 9 y.o.........What i wanted d most was a musical pencil-box if i scored straight A's in UPSR....(duhhh, Standard 3...what do u expect?)
At 19 y.o........A yr after i met Mr. BF a.k.a Mr. Hubby, i remembered i wanted a bunch of roses (wic i did not get....dang!...because he tot he shud give sumthing that i can utilise,not throw in d dustbin after a week)
At 29 y.o........What i wanted d most.........is the most expensive gift of all which no materials can be equal to......
