BBQ Raya:)

Sebagai penutup Syawal, we had a BBQ Raya @ Mak Ngah's house last weekend....it was an ohhhsemmm makan2 wif lotsa ohhhsemmm all home made food. Maklumla ramai chef yg bertauliah......heee....let's layan gambo people....

Menu : Ayam bakar, Daging bakar, Keli bakar, nasi goreng kampung, coleslaw n mash potato with gravy............all yummylicious!!

Dessert & Finger food : Congo bar, Popiah, Jagung bakar & Triffle....droooolllll

Syukur and feel blessed for the beautiful Ramadhan & Syawal that we had....but given the chance, i would want to turn back time n did more ibadah during the Ramadhan...so much terawih was missed,so many times the Quran was left behind...tapi xpela jaga anak pun kira beribadah jugak kan....semoga semuanya diterima oleh-Nya....Ameen:)

Raya@The Power of Dreams

So, today we held a Raya Makan-makan at office. Konsep potluck so everyone brings sumthing n when it all combine together....mak aiiii, byk betul makanan. Syukur, alhamdulillah for the food. Menu includes lemang & rendang ayam (super yummy!), roti jala & kari ayam, laksa, nasi tomato, nasi kerabu, spaghetti, bihun goreng, grilled chicken, ciskek, congo bar sherry (super yummy gak!), lontong, koktail, kuih-muih, bubur caca, teh tarik, dadih............gosh!!byk lagi kot...x ingat. Tx to all yg contribute...........:). Now, lets layan gambar!!

Salam alls.............oh,my..oh,my...im so guilty in charge for letting this blog to be ignored for sooooooo long. The demands of being a wifey, a mother, a daughter, a worker are so overwhelming that it took me ages to update this blog...........(as if anybody care..hehe). But, anyhow with the determinations to upload some raya pics for the sake of Anas to reminiscenes bila die dh besar nnt..........huhu (dgn harapan blog ni still alive when Anas is able to read)....So, here goes........i present u some raya pics of ours...........:)

Marvellous Sambal Bali

I have a superb recipe for you guys to try out this Ramadhan...or even for Hari Raya. I have to give credit to my sis fren, Kak Intan for teaching me how to cook this dish. Those days, she always comes to our house n cook this delicious signature dish of hers.....sinfully sedap Sambal Bali Daging....she said its resipi turun temurun dr Singapore....its so easy,peasy to do...you can even do it while playing with your kids...i swear!! been there,done that!

Here goes, ladies........

1. First things first, perapkan daging dgn bawang,serai,lengkuas,cili kering (all blend together) n kicap manis or pekat (kicap ABC is d best)

This is how it will look like

2. While let the meat to be marinade, you can prepare n fry bawang besar Holland, serai, lengkuas, cili hijau n daun kari. Fry till everything is soft n then put aside.

It smells super wangi when you fry these

3. After that, with using the same oil (maybe you hv to add more oil, depend on the amount of meat), you fry the marinated meat. Reneh atas api yg sederhana. When it looks like its dry a little, then you add in some air asam jawa n honey.

4. Stir everything together, then you add in back all the bawang,serai,lengkuas,cili hijau n daun kari that you hv fried earlier. Stir and let everything blend together.......masak sikit lagi...then, SIAP!!

Sambal Bali Daging yg dh siap.......makan dgn nasi panas.........super sedapp!!trust me

So you see.....its simply easy to do...just 4 steps.......try it! Mesti Encik Suami suke n happy:)

Daddy's 3.0

Salam ramadhan everyone..........hopefully everyone is taking full advantage of this holy month to muhasabah diri and mem'bersih'kan' hati n diri dr semua sifat2 mazmumah dan memperbanyakkan sifat mahmudah....god, i know i myself need a lot of effort on that. Still working on it though..............hoping to be better each n everyday. Tough job, it is! Need a lot of persistent n resilience.........eg: like its sooooo easy to google n shop online rather that take the holy Al-Quran n read a page with its tafsir....isn't it? so go figure. i wish i can built a hard wall against all my nafsu2 towards shopping2,makan2,gossip2 in this blessful month  of Ramadhan and continue to do so even after this month ends.............huuh...high ambition.......but MUST work towards it! Insya-allah....

Anyhow, this is a veeeery veeery long pending post as the event occurred wayyyy before ramadhan. I just need to post it for the sake of memories.....(dgn harapan Anas baca blog ni bile die besar nanti....huhuhu). So, to cut things short.............Daddy has reached his big 3.0 last month n we had a lil celebration just the 3 of us at Chili's, Empire.....
